Update glitch
I've had to do a manual update twice and each time I've been told to uninstall the old version before the update can be installed but it doesn't install automatically. I then end up having to go to Play Store to install the game again from scratch. My game progress is saved via Facebook but I have lost my daily log in progress and have gone back to day one. I am also treated as a new player and have to endure all the tutorials. Have I done something wrong?

I am sorry to hear this! Strange that you can't update the game but have to uninstall it first and then reinstall it. When you uninstall you might lose your boosters (as they are stored in your device's memory) and that is also the reason that your Daily Bonus streak is broken and you have to start from day 1 again.
What kind of device do you play the game on? Is it up to date?
