Hey there and thanks for the comments@Spinnifixand@95chata,To remind you, the game moderators are volunteers who help us in helping other players here. While it is appreciated that the moderators has good knowledge of the game, knowing everything might not be possible.For a significant portion of the issues that are posted here in the forum, the moderators do not have the ability to fix some of them, in such cases the players are referred to Support, as they have the same access to the game as anyone else.Regarding voting, it's appreciated that you suggest this idea, however we don't have any plans on this right now. The reason being that while it can be a nice way to survey who people would like to "elect", it can also easily become a popularity contest.Right we have a bunch of applications, and I'm sure that we'll find additions to the team that will help make this part of the forum more fun!"
This is in response to your reply above to my post on August 2nd.I just noticed today that you closed the discussion area and I didn't have the opportunity to reply back there and in a more appropriate way. That is why I am writing in this area.
Juts to be clear, I don't need to be reminded that Moderators are volunteers. And that they are not supposed to know everything. I know that very well. It’s only that simple questions that don’t requiere to be sent to “support” are not answered correctly by some of them.
After learning today that you already chose the moderators @Princess_Jessica and @Palash_Sarma for the Soda area, it is very obvious to me and to other members that already applied for the position that this decision was not based necessarily in "good knowledge of the game" but based on favoritism.
And now these two Moderators have become popular in the Community. So, yes! This way of choosing an existing Moderator for different games has become a Popularity in your Community. Why not giving the opportunity to new members to become moderators? I would love to hear your answers.
I still don't understand why you were encouraging members to apply for these positions if at the end they will be disregarded.
Because of actions like this, you could eventually be loosing lots of members. Because they will feel discouraged and disappointed.
