There are different versions of BAC at the moment! Not all players have the option of "not play but get the rewards"!
The version we have is — every teammate must bake at least one cake piece to get the rewards! So, it depends on the team we are in!
@Yosca would know more about it as she is one of the Soda Moderators!

Bake a Cake is a game inside team activity. And it is the only one game right now. It has different versions of getting CAKE Rewards which is related to the testing group the players belong to, therefore the teammates in the same team may have different requirements to get the prize.
TEAM Rewards is another reward. Every team has a team ranking. When the team reaches a higher rank, EVERY teammates will get some prizes even though he/she did not do anything. Everyone in the team can get TEAM Rewards---I think TEAM Rewards has only one version so far.

I think it's very fair that every team has SAME prizes for each rank. You can check your rank prizes list and then add up the prizes from rank 5 to rank 19. They will be same amount to my photo.
A funny fact I think you may not notice. There are 8 hammers and 6 hours of timed colour bomb have been shown on my photo, but I have received 16 hammers and 12 hours of timed colour bomb actually. The amount of all prizes are doubled and then put into my stock. All team rewards have been doubled amount except the prizes for RANK 20. Therefore I must not get the rank 20 with other ranks together. If I do that, the amount of all prizes cannot be doubled.

Which device are you using?
I used to have (still have) the same issue on my Android phone. It will only work if I turn off the WiFi and Mobile data! So, I cannot play new levels as I cannot buy extra moves when needed due to no connection!!
Do you think it will let you play old levels without the WiFi on?

I play on a Xiaomi Redmi 9C NFC.
