When receiving a booster while baking a cake, only to have it automatically used up on the next level, is a common complaint among players because it can feel like a wasted opportunity, especially if you need the booster for a particularly tough level you're currently facing.
The game is designed to automatically apply any available boosters when you move to the next level, meaning if you get a booster while baking a cake, it will be used immediately on the following level, regardless of whether you need it or not.
Be mindful of when you use your boosters, especially if you're nearing the end of a cake baking round. Consider saving them for the next level if you think it might be more challenging. If you know a particularly difficult level is coming up, try to strategically collect boosters before reaching that level so you can use them when needed.
