Easter is up on us. Tomorrow the kiddo's will be spending their day hunting eggs ๐ฅ
I'm excited to hear your plans or even a childhood memory ๐ฃ๐๐ฐ๐ค
I remember as a child going to church on Sunday and they would give us all Easter baskets and then have a big Easter dinner afterwards the kids would get to hunt eggs I remember running through that field and trying to collect as many as I could to win the prize egg I would always win it and the prize was $100.00 I would always ask when we left church to go shopping to spend my prize and my mom and dad would always say better then shopping you can put your money in your bank and save it at the time I remember being so disappointed but now I see why they would tell me that ๐คฃ
Let's do something fun for Easter ๐

Pour Pรขques c'รฉtait le repas dominical chez mes grands parents maternelle puis aprรจs le repas la chasse aux ลufs dans les jardins (cadeaux ou chocolat)
I remember having Easter dinner and then going outside to have an Easter Egg Hunt. Got all kinds of candy and money lol (change and dollar bils)
I'm up at camp now but I'lll be on later to color the picture lol. Just want to check out the contest lol.
Hi @Princess_Jessica! When I was growing up my family didn't celebrate this holiday but when my kids got married and had children every year we'd take them on an Easter egg hunt. Sometimes it was on the beach and other times it was elsewhere. We'd get together at my son's house on Easter Day for a meal. Since the pandemic nothing is the same and I didn't even ask if they were doing Easter. I'd rather stay home and my grandchildren are all in their late teens and early 20s so the egg hunt fun is over.
Thank you guys for sharing โค๏ธ
@sabledo85 sounds similar to when I was growing up those was the good ole days ๐
@moonlight46 same sounds similar to my childhood. Oh sounds like fun camp. I always enjoyed camp ๐ no rush take your time this is a just for fun coloring pages ๐
@_Elsa_ I know exactly what you mean. Things was so different before the pandemic. Since things have changed. Families aren't families anymore ๐ญ we all use to be so close and done everything together. Seems like since the pandemic this world has done a complete 360. This world has went crazy ๐ง families aren't close like we use to be it's so sad ๐ข
I'm back from camp! Had a lot of fun. Gotta catch up all on the posts lol.
Good I'm glad it was fun ๐ take your time we will be here no rush ๐
How do you color the basket? @Princess_Jessica
Hi @Princess_Jessica thank you for this new Easter thread. ๐ค๐๐ป
I do not have too many memories of Easter as a kid except the one I shared in the Jelly Community.
I however have very fond memories of my kids going egg hunting in the garden of the various places we lived in different countries.
Even in Japan! Although it was difficult to find Easter eggs there. So we had some sent from Europe well in time for Easter and has them hidden in the Japanese house garden. As this was a typical Japanese garden, not so many hiding places (flowers, pots, shrubs) so all the eggs were found in no time ๐. They did not care, they ate them with delight.
Even today, despite being in their mid 20s or early 30s, they are very keen on enjoying their Easter eggs when they come home ๐
Happy Easter everyone!
