Need a Helping Hand? ๐ญ
Got a game question or need help? This is the place to ask!
G'day @LadyRaffie
This is an awesome thread to add to the discussion page, how exciting for everyone!!
This is a very interesting topic! Some of my friends tell me that when they read or do something in their native language, it's a lot easier to comprehend and relate to, with a natural ease, that is different to a second language. So for them, I think this a great initiative!! How much more enjoyable would the game be for them!!!
No wonder the soundtrack feels so cruisy! The London Symphony Orchestra!!! Recorded at Abbey road!! (yes I did think of the Beatles straightaway, what history there is there!! ๐คฃ๐คฃ) That must have felt like an amazing accomplishment!!
I've heard some experiences from friends who work on a Translation Committee and know that many hours of hard work and cross referencing go into it, so this must have been a long time in the making, before you had "lift off" lol
I found it intriguing (because I'm a secret nerd at heart lol) that Dima used the words "localizing", "realities" and "requirements". I know that words can loose a lot of meaning in translation. I found this with the Hawaiian word "Ohana" (it means family when translated but in the actual language it encompasses so much more than just "relatives" lol one of my favourite words ever!!!)
So I guess my question to Dima would be: Is that what is meant by the 3 ".." words above, in reflecting the local meaning of the words and the reality of it's actual application? Does that make sense? (maybe he could give an example.)
Thank you for your tagging all of them! @Pitty_Kitty ๐๐
