Where is my progress????

I was in the middle of playing. I had just finished level, I believe it was 2030 or around that. At the end it started acting funny and wouldn’t let me do anything so I closed the game. When I opened it again, guess what? Level one. Are you flipping kidding me?! I’ve been playing for years. I’m playing on an iPad . Please tell me this can be remedied and I don’t have to delete all the king games from my devices and find something else to do. I’ve already once lost all my boosters, but at least it wasn’t my levels.
