Yes, the new look of the characters was introduced almost a year ago. Things always evolve so the studio made a revamp. I believe the developers are free to be more creative with the "new" charaters, in the way they move and look in each themed season. Do you like them?

if they are great. But why don't other people like the new character design?

Some players liked it, some were a bit more critical when the new look was released. I remember I was not very convinced with new Yeti look back then but now he's alright π . If you're curious, here's the thread and people's comments about it π
