(FIXED) After latest update, candy crush soda saga crashes on load on windows 10
Level 2
With 1.21.900 update that came yesterday, my candy crush game wont load at all, it just briefly flashes on screen and doesn't load. Checking the event wiever shows dcom error in attachment.
Reinstalling older version 1.21.200 (i have it as appx - microsoft store format) the game works again. Until microsoft store auto-updates it, then it stops working again.
What i've tried so far (and didn't work):
- Doing terminate/reset/uninstall flow in windows apps
- Various troubleshooters
- in the end i reinstalled windows not knowing what else to do, but it stays the same.
Other king games work fine, no issues.

Hello @rosakiara and welcome to Soda community!
We have reported the loading issue that many windows 10 players have been experiencing for the last few days, ever since the app received the update to version 1.211.900.0.
The Studio is currently investigating this. We don't know when the fix will be released unfortunately.
As soon as we have updates about this issue from the Game Studio we'll be sure to post them on the community.
Thank you for your patience! I'm very sorry for this inconvenience

Hello Soda Players!
The Game Studio told us there is a new game app version on Microsoft Store: 1.212.300.0. Are you able to open your app after updating?
My w11 app loads but I didn't have any issues with the previous update so I can't tell the difference
Let me know , thank you!
