Bubblegum hill

In the past when playing Bubblegum Hill, I could get through the 5 levels and wait 10-15 minutes to be unseated. I could receive upwards of 10 gold bars. Now I win, and for the last 2 weeks I do not receive anymore that 2 gold bars!! I am wondering what happened? This is since I had to reinstall Candy Crush soda after a crash. Disappointing- I am ready to call it quits and find another game.
