Bubblegum hill disappearing. Not getting gold bars

I have won bubblegum hill about 4 times. I get the free lives & lollipops & then when I go back to the main screen bubblegum hill has disappeared. After a few hours bubblegum hill reappears but I am back to the first level. I don’t get notice that I’ve been dethroned nor do I get any gold bars.

I understand this can be confusing and we're sorry for it. What's basically happening (and we checked your account and it's also the case) is that Bubblegum Hill finishes and a new version of it appears (remember though that the event doesn't run constantly so it might not always be there).
After it finishes, you are getting your rewards (including the gold bars) but there is no notification or message about it, which is what is misleading. We're aware of this issue and we hope to get it fixed as soon as we can.

That shouldn't be the case. But we haven't seen any other report about the event disappearing prior to the time it was meant to finish, which is why I encourage you to check that your device, connection and version of the game are up to date, since it doesn't seem to be an issue connected with Bubblegum Hill as an event.
