Yes I knew that and it works when they're together early in the game.

I am sitting at the end of the map now.
You misunderstood my reply.
I sometimes need boosters to get through the hard levels (game levels 3500 - 4000) on the actual games, not the cake games.
Anyhow, I guess King will do what they want and we'll just play along 🙃
The first four levels inside first layer of the cake are not too difficult to pass. If you pass it, you'll get one lollipop hammer.
A cake can be done by WHOLE TEAM, so you don't need to use boosters for it. Maybe you need to move to another team for better prospect.

Dunno what level you're on, but for me, I need all the boosters I can get.
Just to add, I'll never pay for boosters.

The longer version has a 45 levels cake. The new cake has 30 levels only. You could easier to get rewards than before even though the rewards be halved. Luckily, the super lollipop still has 2 pieces at the top.
I hope we get the longer version back.
You need to update your game app. If you still don’t see it, then logout, clear cache, and login a few times.
