I have not deleted anything or removed cookies or reset my computer etc. I was on lever 217 but now it has suddenly gone back to level 1, why?

Sorry to hear this! There are a couple of reasons why your progress may not be showing. Let's have a look at how we can solve this issue:
The first reason why your progress is not showing in the game is that you logged out of your account. Make sure you're logged into your King or Facebook account with your own credentials to see your hard-earned progress and to continue your journey in the Kingdom!
If you share your device, make sure the last player has logged out of their account. Then, log back into your own account. The game will recognize you, and your progress will be restored. Now you can get back to playing!
Lastly, if you didn't save your progress with Facebook or King, you won't be able to recover lost progress as it was never synchronized, but don't worry! Simply create a King account or connect to your Facebook now. Then, get in touch with Player Support to let them know. They can manually restore your progress.
