I'm so sorry you're going through a lot Traci. I'm sorry you have to experience the pain of being separated from your daughter. I can't imagine the heartaches of being in this state for too long. My heart goes out to you. β€οΈ As a friend, it's hard to see you this way.
I hope the line of communication between you two will always be open. Life is always evolving and full of hope. Personal growth never stops. Hopefully one day one time both of you will sit down and iron out whatever it is that brought this state in your lives.
I don't know if this will help but what I have learned over the years from people, who have confided in me, regardless of the generation gap, is that each one needs to be heard and understood. We might not agree but we need to listen to what they have to say with an open mind and validate their feelings. We have different experiences in life. We grew up in different times. Even kids are able to comprehend when things are explained to them.
Hopefully next time I will hear good news of you being reunited with your daughter. I will continue to pray for you and your family. π
