I think I found a new glitch!

For the last couple of days I have noticed that I am getting game hints but there is nothing to make a 3 match? Shouldn't there be 2 yellow candies in close proximity so that I can move the fish to make the match?

I am playing the cake in my team so I can't even say what level it is. I am tagging @LoFiGummy, @Yosca, @Princess_Jessica and @Palash_Sarma so can this please be elevated to the studio?

I am on Windows 11 and below is a print screen with the latest version of the game.

I have also had this on my iPhone and I just checked and it's the latest version of the game too - 1.282.3.

    Hi @_Elsa_

It isn’t a glitch. It’s a new function, and the Studio rolled it out to many more players. You can double click/tap the booster (it’s the same for the other boosters as well 😃) without combining and the booster does its work. I love this function and is very helpful!

Please explain it a little further. If I double click on that yellow fish what happens? Lucky me, a tester!

Then the fish will swim to a blocker. If you double click on wrapped/striped candy it will remove candy around. Double click CB or CC and it will remove or change the color etc.

You don’t have to combine boosters anymore with this new function

WOW! I have to check it out. What I'd like you to pass along to @LoFiGummy that he needs to explain to the studio that when they make changes like this we need instructions on how it works. It's crazy to have to ignore, which I just did, or fool around on my own to figure it out. Or wait for someone in the community who tried it and can explain what to do. I've been saying this for years with all the match 3 games that when they come out with a new whatever we need directions on what it does.

Maybe it requires a new post, titled "New things", should be posted in the Discussion area explaining these things. I would think that the CM from whatever game should do this for their game. It wouldn't require much time once the post is open. A CM can post in that the message saying that it's in testing so not everyone will see it yet, but if anyone does come across it this is what it does. It's very frustrating to see something new, think it's a glitch and if I didn't come here to post this message I never would have known that it's something new.

Also the management here needs to realize that not everyone has time to come to the community often because of work and family schedules so I think having a post with directions would be very helpful. Please pass this along and discuss it with your team.

Thanks for feedback, I'll forward it to the studio - and yes as you say, not everyone checks the community so it would of course be preferred to explain it more in the game.

I'll see what I can do as well from our end in terms of improving communication about new features! 🤗

At one time one of the match 3 games, maybe it was Saga, did try to do a pop up in the game explaining an event. But it was only one time and the studio never did it again with future new things. So it might have been more trouble for the studio to actually add the pop up in the game so doing a new post and keep adding any new things would be very helpful.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
