Team Chat → News Change (Studio Message)

I have no idea how see these changes will make it better for the community. I could care less about the “new” color scheme. The “Studio” in its infamous wisdom has destroyed the game beyond belief. No ads! Thus no boosters! I can play the same level 300 times and never succeed. Now I can’t even send friends lives. Have you lost your collective minds????? What is going on. Why isolate players more than they already are??? Will the “Studio” respond or have a moderator spit out what is already outlined in FAQ?

Hi @LoFiGummy, well it's been way past 24 hours, perhaps 36 hours since my ask heart grayed out. I just checked it again now and it's still gray so even the time frame isn't working. That's weird that the ask button really just tells your team to send lives.

You weren't here years ago when players were complaining mostly about CC Saga in the old King Care community. When you develop as many levels as these studios have, the developers have to keep coming up with ideas to keep the players' interest; however, many changes in these games cause frustration and anger to surface. What bothers me the most about all of this is this ………… I understand that you, personally as a CM, are really on top of this game, although you are in the middle. You can only pass along what the players report to the studio, such as glitches, and when those get fixed that's cool. But when they make changes like this can you please tell me if the developers in the studio actually come here to read the negative and frustration that the players express? I know that at one time there was a data team in the studio but can't remember if that's for all games or which games it's used for. I know that the studio collects data and they probably never see a huge drop in the number of players because as frustrated/angry players walk away, new players start playing so their data of the number of players never drops.

I can tell you that one event that they took away got a lot of slack, the Bubblegum Troll event. I understand that the studio needs to make changes or get rid of an event to make room for a new event, but I wish that they would listen to what the players are saying. We have Facebook groups for the various King games and no matter how many times I post a message in my group from here or mention things going on in this game, they don't wish to come here because they are upset that sometimes these changes are not for the better. They realize that the studios do their thing and ideas that are posted in the larger game areas are not implemented. I pay attention to both sides, the studio and the players. The connection between both ends is not working. I get frustrated, and I'm in the middle like you, between the players and the studio. I'd love to be able to help with improving the game so that everyone has a super experience. Maybe it's time to bring back the polls here but if that's done will the studio look at the comments or will there not be enough responses to pay attention and listen to what the players want and need?

I've done coding in the past so I can truly relate to the difficulties of coding. You correct one thing and another thing doesn't work correctly. I remember the frustration that I went through trying to read my coding line by line to find the errors. So I can definitely relate to glitches and coding.

One more thing that I'd like to suggest to the studios. That AB testing is rarely a positive thing for the players, especially if family members see one family member has it while another doesn't. Why aren't the developers + the rest of the studio do their own tests to find out if there needs to be changes instead of having the players test it? Also I think the CMs should also be testing the new things to offer feedback to the studio. I bet that the GMs would love to try the tests and not the AB test that the players get randomly chosen. Just like when a studio decides to have a Zoom meeting to ask for feedback about something that they are planning to do for whatever in the game. Create an in-team to test and then pass it along to the players. Just my thoughts on this!

@LoFiGummy I appreciate that the Design Team is feeling it is important to make everything accessible for everyone but to me this is not a Big Job or anything to do with my Chat on or in my Soda Games rather just a shove under the dirt to treat me as if I am someone who has learning disabilities or difficulties which I do not in anyway you may or may not know I am a well educated person in America and I love playing my game with my fellow Teammates and to treat me as if I don't understand that by acting like the slide of the hand is not being played here is beneath my intelligence's.

Please remember there are a lot of members/players who are from all over the world that play these games and enjoy themselves and have made friends by doing so by your sites we do Not use your sites/chats for personal reasons but only chat as we play your Games as it is your/our game that we login for as that is what we are hooked on truthfully hooked on maybe to say addicted to but we love our game still remember there will be many players/members from the Community who will leave the Community and Games once they get tired of not being able to communicate with the other players/members that they play their games with and many will leave the Community too as maybe the Community Mánagers and Game Moderators might already know that soon the Community will cease exist as just might be something that Microsoft has in store or not who knows we are not here as billboards to send out messages that only comment to say this content or created content is happening in this game or that game that is what you mean by saying NEWS replacing Chat as we understand it very much and well as the only thing that seems clear is to forget about the personal experience within our Games and Community just play and get as many people to join and play for the NEWS will feed them with the features and what's happening and nothing saying about limiting the number of moves or changing the level designes or changing the boosters as not to offer the same ones that others had in years past and now it's just a bit harder to pass now the same levels that is.

I can be honest with you and keep on telling you how I feel and what I wish you didn't do but when it comes down to money I lose and that's the whole truth.
