How do you become helper of the week in your team?

Level 3
Does it depend on the amount of cake slices you make, the amount of lives you give to others, or both? I was sure I made the most slices this week and gave everyone lives but didn't get the title.

Did you check 5 lives left corner upper?
There is no other option to give lives others or you can send lives clicking team profile players..

Hi Welcome to the Sweet Soda Community
To become "Helper of the Week" in Candy Crush Soda Saga, you need to consistently send lives to your team members throughout the week, as the game typically selects the player who has sent the most lives to their team as the "Helper of the Week" based on their activity in
Try to remember following steps
Send lives regularly:
The more lives you send to your team members throughout the week, the higher your chances of being chosen as the Helper of the Week.
Be active on your team:
Engage with your team by sending lives promptly when requested and checking in on their progress.
Join a team with active players:
Being part of a team where everyone actively sends lives increases your chances of being recognized as a top helper.
Thank you

Thanks.🙏 Besides giving lives when someone requests one, is there an option to send them to players at any other time? I haven't seen it.

Just a note at first, the reason I'm this invested in this is not because I care about winning, but it really started to get my attention after the same thing started occurring repeatedly, making me eager to find out the cause.
And that lead up to me wanting to see it happening to me just for once. Especially after it has occurred quite many times so far, while doing all the work mentioned below.
Alright now get this. This week I did all of the tasks mentioned above, checking life requests multiple times a day, everyday single day of the week. Both in the team menu and by clicking on the heart. Made the vast majority of pieces of cake, baking multiple times a day, each day of the week.
So, I did:
Checking this multiple times a day, every single day:
Checking this multiple times a day, every single day:
Baking the most pieces of cake of each team members as soon as the event started, every single day:
And behold, the winner:
So, what's going on here? This can't be right.
Is the system rigged, is it a glitch? Or some other factor besides those above, that gives certain players points that count up for the total rank in the award? Such as the amount of levels played, or the time since first starting playing.

The alignment of the text and images doesn't turn out correctly. It did appear correct in my draft before clicking 'post comment'. But I assume it's clear enough.

Yes, sorry, I didn't notice it happens..
I won rarely, I also active and send lives to players but I can't helper of the week , I noticed one player who is not active bakery but he request for lives, he is helper of week.
I think system choose players automatically.

Thanks for the info. I also have noticed that the player mentioned in my case gets awarded almost always, about 9 out of 10 times. Making the theory of automatic selection less likely.

Hi! Hello, I haven't been a "team jumper" for more than 2 years, haha.
Since I don't participate in many teams now, I encounter fewer situations. I can only guess: this is a glitch.
Michimune is undoubtedly the person who knows the most about this question, and he should be able to give the most pertinent answer.

I have to say this first:
Winning the title of The helper of the week is meaningless, the winner cannot get ANY REWARDS 😆😂🤣
The Bake a Cake event lasts 6 days weekly, starting from Thursday CET 9:00am. The cake do not appear normally until one of the original teammates log into the game.
When the event passes half of the time, the helper of the week ( HoW ) message will appear, therefore this message often appears on Sunday.
According to my observation, the criteria for winning this title are not related to how much contribution you have provided to the cake or teammates.
Let’s analysis some examples:
This is an admin only and no any movement team, the cake does not appear because the only one in the team does not log into the game, only a glass wearing tortoise has visited this team twice from last Sunday to this Sunday. Of course, the HoW this Sunday is Den ( the admin ), but last Sunday is another one called sko, who is sko?
The HoW of last week is sko, a visitor, he couldn’t bake a slice in the cake because of no cake and couldn’t offer a life to his teammates because of no request.
Another example:
A one man team but this team is not a no movement team, the admin has been baking the cake this week. A visitor called Pinky won the HoW from the admin, when she had just visited this team, the last message before Pinky arrived said the admin had revived himself out of the jail.
By these two examples, my assumption is: the system chooses a player as HoW if this player has any activities ( joining the team, baking a slice, offer a life, etc. ) while a specific period of time. But if no one has any activities within this time period, it will choose the last HoW which is still in the team as HoW this time. Therefore the HoW is often the same person.
Testing this assumption:I has just joined into a low rank ( rank 4 ), no cake team, no cake means the two original teammates do not log into the game so far.
As you see, I ( Man Chan ) become the HoW this week in this team. According to the messages, king4358 is a newcomer to this team. No cake here means the king4358 do not log into the game so far OR he joins this team after the event starting time this week, so he doesn’t has the right to activate the cake.
The HoW of last week is another visitor to this team called king2836.
The HoW of two week ago is another visitor to this team called Yash.
If you really want to be HoW, a 100% successful method:
As you see, Lisa is a HoW weekly whether she log into the game or not.
Create your own PRIVATE team, no one can join, only you, you must be HoW.😎

I know there are no rewards, I don't mind. I just wanted to know the cause.

I don't want to leave my team. But if I understand your assumption correctly, if I stay in my team and do nothing during one week, I will more likely become helper of that week?
