I recently lost all of my gold bars, approximately 28, and haven’t been using them. Can you restore them?

I am very sorry to hear that you have lost your Gold Bars!! Are you sure you have not spent them in the game? I am hoping you have this issue in Candy Crush Soda Saga game since you have posted in this section.
