Levels on bubble gum Hill are checked, even though I'm not on top cannot play now

I got kicked off bubble gum Hill but cannot play a new round because all the levels are checked as if I am still on top (I know I'm not on top because I was awarded gold bars, my name is not at the top, and got the dethroned message) . I have opened and closed the app, I don't want to uninstall because then I will lose my infinite lives on the daily bonus. Fix please?
