I had a feeling that it was Windows 10 when you said that it already had the game. It's not the game version that you need. I had a problem once with that and thought it was the actual game until a community manager told me that it wasn't. You have to go into the Microsoft store (the shopping bag) and search for the game and then install it. What happened to me is that I wasn't getting the updated new levels. Once I installed this game version everything was fine.
