This flower represents uncertainty, chivalry, and new beginnings. These are one of the first flowers of spring, and are planted in private gardens and public areas almost all over the world. Historically these plants have been cultivated for centuries, and by the late 19th century the bulbs became an important commercial crop for the Netherlands. There are hundreds of different types of these flowers now, and many different shades and colors, but the most popular color is still solid yellow.
This flower is a ________________.
