Why can’t I give lives to Facebook friends

About a week ago I could no longer send lives to Facebook friends on Candy Crush Saga. The response I get when I try is:( invalid access_token)

the response I got earlier from this website was wait a few days and try again. That was on Wednesday Oct 7. It is now Oct 11 and the problem is still there.

I would like to know how to regain that ability. BTW I can receive and use the live’s sent by these same friends.
