How do I pass level 233 in Pepper Panic?

I don't even know how long I have been stuck on this level. ONE time I got enough purple peppers, but didn't get a pepper panic, ARGH! I have watched videos, but those don't help unless you happen to get the same layout. Is it all just chance and luck? Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

I think you can pick up some tips from watching videos but yes, its mostly about luck and chance with the timer.
