Can't finish the tutorial

Here is what happens.  "Click and drag" and it highlights A-L-P-H-A so I do that.  but the tiles don't disappear.  Then it tells me to click and drag backwards and spell I-N-K.  Those words disappear.  Then it tells me I can drag diagonal...but because the letters to 'alpha' never disappeared I am stuck with the word M-A-G-I-H which is not a word at all and I cannot complete the tutorial to even play the game.

    Also I have tried quitting the level (sacrificed two lives doing this) and reloading the page neither works.  My Flash Player is up to date so I know it's not that.

    I'm having the same problem.  You're supposed to spell "magic" ... but you can't do that with M A G I H >:(

    If you're playing via Facebook on PC, download it for free on the app store; the app version is a lot smother and you don't have this problem. Once you pass level one, click the "connect with facebook" option, and you can play level two onwards from the PC
