You haven't changed any settings so that your friends list isn't visible to the game? Many people don't realise that means the games cannot see lists so cannot show friends.

Also, it might be worth checking the app in your facebook settings to make sure that it is still active. Even though you are playing, the setting needs to be refreshed every so many months. Settings then apps and websites.
