as a newbie to FHS I find beans to be more valuable than lives, since my skills are undeveloped

lives can be refreshed by waiting an hour

why beans?

I am addicted to using shovels ... it feels like you get 3 extra turns when you buy shovels

Rancid is so much easier to get 3 stars when you spend the maximum on beans at the start of the game ... if you are unsuccessful in getting 3 stars right away it is easy to go through 10, 000 beans in just a few games

I've liked being on a team and have enjoyed giving and receiving lives from my team members. Now, suddenly I rarely have lives waiting for me even though I can see that my team members are sending them to me!! Went to bed last night asking for lives, woke up this morning to see a team member had indeed sent me a life, and yet it's not there? Isn't that the whole point of being on a team??? What's happening? Can you help?
