Okay, last comment here. I have figured it out. Right now, all the links on the King.com website lead to
https://www.king.com/game/farmheroes or
https://www.king.com/game/candycrushsoda
or whatever. Notice that 'game' is after the slash. These links do not work.
The links that work are
https://www.king.com/play/farmheroes or
https://www.king.com/play/candycrushsoda
or whatever. Notice that the word 'play' is after the slash. These are the links that work. The word 'play' must be in the link, not 'game'. Maybe they will update the King.com site soon and fix the links. In the meantime, just make sure it says play in the link instead of game.
I have Chrome and Mozilla. In Chrome, I had to manually type in the Javascript acceptance for King.com. I found that out by someone at King.com who mentioned it on Google. However, I can't find it in Mozilla. I did try replacing /game/ with /play/ in Mozilla, and it kept reverting back to /game/. I went to the Royal site, and it would not load. However, I am still okay on Chrome since I added the Javascript "okay" for King.com
Hello dear @Crazy Cat Lad π€
I am still having the issue to open the games on King.com. I have tried all the browsers including "incognito". In fact, I have been trying everyday (from past 10 days or so) to open the game on all my available browsers But, no luck!
Just now, I tried @Ghost_78 suggestion -- to replace "games" with "play" in URL link ---> https://www.king.com/play/farmheroes and the games are opening.
A bit slow in loading - but, I would blame my PC for that π
Hello again @DianeWalters π€
Can you help me with something? Where am I supposed to that setting/question -- to accept the Java script?
Will it be possible for you to share that post made by King employees? OR if you can explain in a little bit detail as to how and what to do, that would be a great help for me π
Thank you in advance π₯ π₯
You're absolutely right. I neglected to check it on other browsers, and had only tested using /play/ on Chrome. Tested Firefox (Mozilla) this morning, and you're right, it doesn't work. It reverts back to /game/, just as you said. Went ahead and also tested Edge (Microsoft) just now, and replacing 'game' with 'play' works fine there too. So odd that it works on Chrome and Edge, but not Firefox. It seems that Mozilla is no longer supporting Java, but it's strange that the games did used to work on Firefox before. There are add-ons that you can supposedly use to force Java to run on Firefox, but I haven't tested any.
In Chrome, if you click on the three vertical dots on the top right of the page, click on SETTINGS. Then in the search bar at the top of the SETTINGS page type Java. At the bottom of that page it says CONTENTβCookies, "JavaScript." Click on that, and then at the bottom of that page look for this: ALLOWED TO USE JAVA. You have to type in King.com. And, that's it.
I've spent days in Google looking for terms that might come up. That message from King.com didn't have anything to click on, it just said something like click on JAVA in Chrome, or something like that.
Good luck! Let us know!
