As a child, I especially loved it when we could go sledding. In the middle of the city, however, there are only a few hills. Therefore, we mostly amused ourselves with snowball fights.

Growing up we had an amazing hill perfect for sledding. I also lived next to a large reservoir and when it froze in the winter, we would build a fire at the edge of the frozen ice and skate for hours. We'd roast marshmallows and have hot chocolate. These were my favorite things to do. Here is a snowman made a few years ago during a snowstorm.
