Mothers Day is approaching soon and I know that you all must be eager to celebrate and Wish your Mom❤️🤱❤️

Do you know that Mother's Day is celebrated all around the World? And, it first began in America in 1907🗓️

First, let's look at some facts that I have learnt while preparing for this contest🔖

• Afghanistan, Russia and Vietnam celebrate it on International Women’s Day on March 8 💐
• Ireland, Nigeria and UK also celebrate in March (but not on a specific date)🍀
• With great efforts of an Egyptian journalist, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Palestinian Territories, Syria, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen started celebrating from 1950 - on March 21st (the first day of Spring) 🌷
• Along with USA, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Ecuador, most of Europe, Grenada, Honduras, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Jamaica, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Uruguay, Venezuela and Zimbabwe celebrate on 2nd Sunday of May🌹
• In Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Belize, Mother’s Day is celebrated on May 10th. If it falls on a weekday, moms and kids stay home from work & school. How sweet is that?😍
• There are countries that celebrate on last Sunday of May; June 29th; December 8th; and December 22nd 🎉🎁🛍

No matter when we celebrate and where we celebrate, it is to honor our Moms and give back a little love they shower on us🤗❤️😍 Don't you agree?

Hello @PummyRaj In our country, Mother's Day is held on the 2nd Sunday in the month of May. This year it is the 14th of May. I will invite my parents for lunch and a pleasant afternoon. My adult children and little grandson will also be there. A small gift in the form of a sweet rose bush I have of course also for my mother

My mother passed away quite a few years ago.

If she were alive today I would say you are the best mother ever. If I am half as good as you I will be happy 😊 ( being a mother that is)

2 In Australia 🇦🇺 we celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday the 14th of May.

3 My mother in law is getting a Oodie bathrobe and we are all going out for lunch.

An opportunity to thank all mothers for their love and giving. The mother is our role model and source of inspiration. Our strength and support is a great person who cannot be compensated. No matter how much I speak and write in all letters and languages, I will not and will not be able to thank you.

Mother's day here is may 14th, unfortunately my Mother has passed on, but I will remember her as I do everyday. If I could we would have a brunch together & I would buy her a hanging basket of flowers which was a tradition.. Happy Mother's day to all.

1) How are you going to convey the Wishes to your Mom this year? 🎉

My parents are away and they live with my siblings now. I'm not sure if they will be home this Saturday. If not, I will send the blessing to my mother's mobile phone.

2) When did you celebrate / are you celebrating in your country? 🌎

In Malaysia it is May 14th. Mother's Day. Yes, I celebrating in my country.

3) Are you planning to give a gift to her? If so, what is it? 🎁

As I mentioned above, she is not with me now, so I'm not sure how to give her a gift. But last year I buy her a birthday cake made by our neighbor. It's just that the cake is very greasy. I will never buy the same cake again this year. 😓 I planning to buy her a Chiffon cake from our neighbor this year if I get the chance. But again, unfortunately, our neighbors are also away （I feel so lonely 😓). So I think if my mom is with me now I'll go to the cake shop buy her a cake then or I'll simply ask her what she need.

Here in the UK, we celebrate Mother's Day in March.

Sadly, my Mum died a long time ago with osteoporosis which made her spine collapse.. If she was around, I would thank her again for all she did to make sure we had a happy childhood and ensuring that we grew up to be caring, responsible adults. We never had much money, but there was never a shortage of love.

I should have loved to be able to give her some beautiful flowers, but she was allergic to them. Mum never wanted gifts, but said that our love was sufficient for her.

I took my mother out for a spa day trip and then for some dinner and a movie night.

2) When did you celebrate / are you celebrating in your country? 🌎

I celebrated Mother’s Day in March here in the UK.🇬🇧

3) Are you planning to give a gift to her? If so, what is it? 🎁

I gave her flowers, a card and her favourite perfume.
