My heroes are my mother and father

My dead father was, still is, and will remain.

    He was wise, smart, struggling.

    ♥️❤️

I love you and I miss you so much. 😔

Me too. My really best heroes are my mother and father too. My father is also dead due to heart attack on 20th April 2021. He is really funny, kind, helpful and responsible person. I really love and miss him so much too but my father is still here with me in my heart and dreams come true. @Amoonmoon ❤️👼

Oh, Lin, the same feelings of loss.

Yes, they're gone, but they live here in our hearts. ♥️

Hi @QueenB the Hero in my Saga is my father.

Growing up he was very active helping my grandparents with farm work, as a young lad he was allowed to leave school early to help run the farm with my gran, when my grandad died at 42 of cancer, my Aunt was crippled by Polio.

Since then he has done nothing but work hard all his life, the family when I was growing up have always been big fundraisers for the community and different charities, Cancer being a big one. Dad would often organise and take a huge role in staging events, and commentating which he is excellent at because of his sense of humour, and was president of St. Maybn Young Farmers for many years, supporting them with events and competitions, he was also an active volunteer in the auxiliary coastguard.

I overwhelmed thinking of my dad. I admire his indominable spirit, courage after his father's death and more recently conquering cancer himself, his hard work, determination, his selflessness and the want to help others, his humour, kindness, strength, passion, his strong sense of morals and loyalty.

Now at 77 he is still that same man, working hard on the farm, and out in all weathers, whether it is gales, lashing down with rain, icy, harvesting veg by hand, and carrying them in big crates across the fields to the Land Rover, to bring back to the shop to sell.

Thankfully they have got a few days off for the Royal Cornwall Show, but he still exhibiting and running his corn crusher there in the machinery section.

My father is my Hero, I admire and respect him so much.
