Farm Heroes Saga on Amazon Fire Tablet - No updates?

Every time I try to play on my Amazon Fire, I get a message about needing to update the app. The app no longer shows up in the Fire apps in a search, no updates showing as available, and it won't let me update from Playstore. Are there no updates available for the Fire now or am I doing something wrong?

Ah I see what the issue is now, it's written in a bit confusing way perhaps - but the app is asking you to update your device. The current version of your device is not supported, and it seems like this device has reached it's limit of updates which blocks it from being able to play the game. 😔

Hey again and thanks for being patient with us, looking into this further I think this may be connected to the "Mandatory Updates" for Farm that has started to roll out. Basically it forces players on older versions to update the game so that the studio can guarantee that the game works as intended.

However, for older devices they will limited to how long they can continue to update their apps, so it may be that the limit has been reached for this device unfortunately.

I'm reaching out to the studio regarding this to confirm it and will get back to you when I know more.

Thank you. But I WAS finally able to update to Version 6.59.14 but the problem NOW is that it still wants me to update. If Version 6.59.14 is the latest version, then I don't understand why it keeps telling me I need to update?

Hello again @Headless I checked with the studio now and it's as I mentioned in my previous comment unfortunately. So in short terms:

The studio has decided to have players update their games to be able to make sure that it works properly.
Some devices that have been around for a while unfortunately will not be able to continue to update the game as they have reached their "limit".

So in this case, if possible, I'd recommend trying out the game on another device if possible. The game is available on Windows, Android & iOS devices. You can also play on Facebook although it doesn't have as many features currently as the other three.

OK. So this is weird. I finally did manage, somehow, to update the game to version 6.59.14. There were no new updates for my system. But when I open the game I still get a big "sign" that tells me to update. I can't get rid of it. No way to "X" out of it. I've rebooted twice and still can't get rid of the big box telling me to update. I have no idea what, if anything, I can do now…

Hey there, looking into this - I see that this device's latest OS is supposedly version 6.5.0, so I'd try to update the version of the device first, and then see if there's any updates available for Farm which on Amazon should be 6.59.14

If you're not automatically updating the new version of the OS on the device, then I believe you can do so manually

Has anyone any idea how to complete Level 4744. Since we no longer get the 30 minute special bonus I cant complete it. I don't see why I have to buy gold etc to complete a level. Any idea why we are not getting the 30 special bonus anymore as well…Help!!!!
