No Event for several weeks

It has been weeks I don,t have events. How long more do I have to wait?? What is happening? How to get it back??

@QueenB I just saw @angieheres post too. Could her internet issue possible be just a temporary glitch?

Angie, it had to be something in the game if you are playing on chrome via the kingdom so you are clearly online anyway, that could be a separate issue

This is news to us so there might have been some changes... I'm going to try and figure out if this was a change the studio made and hopefully not an issue 😊

@MarkHawk I don't know if it's a fluke or if you guys fixed/changed/adjusted something - but, my Events refreshed the way it had for years and I actually got a new one without having to delete and reinstall. So, if it was on your game developers/maintenance team's side - THANK YOU!! 🙂❤

As of yesterday, May 26 2019, quests are no longer on my Farm Heroes Saga game! I thought it was a glitch when the quests weren't there yesterday, but once again today, quests have disappeared from my game. I play on Chrome by way of King and do not have/use Facebook, nor will I, ever. Like everyone else (apparently) I always got the "No internet connection found, try again later" dialogue box for three out of four prizes won and had learned to live with that, but now I have no opportunity to claim even the paltry 25% of what I win. I'm playing on Windows 10 with a custom built, monster gaming desktop which is flawlessly connected to the Internet, 100% of the time; Farm Heroes Super Saga is the only game that can't seem to find the connection that is right there under its nose. I also play Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga, Bubble Witch 2 Saga and Alpha Betty; not one of those other games has a problem locating my connection.
I'd really like the quests back. My cache is kept clean and I can say without the shadow of a doubt that the problem is not with my computer, my connection, or my browser; the problem lies with this one game.

Update to the issue of no events; it looks like a re-install of the game can solve the issue. However this is not a good solution as you will loose all your boosters and messages with lives. Game studio and 2nd line is working on a solution. Until then I suggest you check for any updates to the game on your app store.

I will tag the community manager again @MarkHawk for you @Filly_McBean this is the information we have been given directly from the studio though.

@Sashiko6 different companies often do things differently. This was one of the questions we had a chance to raise with the studio who actually make this game recently. Their response was exactly that. It is NOT against long time players. They find less players have glitches and issues if they keep them in a certain number. Therefore it is random. Its down to whichever player gets it rather than specific or new players. I have often had things at different times to my husband as many other players have found.
Sometimes with testing features they are targetted at specific countries or devices, but usually with the events, its just a case of if you get it you do. Everyone should get some events at some point though so we do keep nagging the team to check it is working as intended.

However as I have said before. These are side events, only available to mobile users for free boosters. If they have other things in the game such as new levels or fixing actual game play issues or even developing new features, they are going to take priority over players getting freebies. At least you can get them sometimes. As a long time player since 2013 and not a King employee so this is my opinion. I wish these features could be made available to pc players as well who cannot play on mobile for one reason or another. (my case because I blog, I cannot play events on mobile because as soon as I open the game on mobile, facebook send all the lives to the mobile instead of the pc where I video gameplay ) We would like freebies too but don't have the option. While waiting there are plenty of other games to try.

So the Flower Tower showed up this morning. I made it through 4 levels, and then it disappeared.
I still see Harvest Rush, but the flowers I earned in the tower did not count.

I agree. This "control group" answer doesn't make sense. I have an IT background. I tested, implemented, and know programming language. Well, it does make sense if they're keeping the events from longer time players that are hooked (sadly).
For me, I wasn't getting any new events for a very long time like several users are complaining about. I was running out of magic beans so I reinstalled and got the event immediately, completed it, and restocked my beans. Had that not happened, I would have quit the game. PLEASE NOTE, if you delete and reinstall, YOU LOSE ALL YOUR BOOSTS YOU HAVE WON. That, in itself, made me want to yell at someone. I sent a message and of course got no response. The event ended - and then, said a new "Flower Event" was launching in 1+ hour, last night. Went to bed, and the event wasn't there today. Obviously, there is an issue. If I didn't know any better, on the new launch for events, they're purposefully keeping them from long(er) time players.
If I was a free to play customer, I'd feel I really have no stance on complaining. However, I was a paying customer (I feel like on some levels you have no choice unless you buy to progress). In contributing to the financial aspect, I feel I have a valid complaint. If they continue to ignore us paying customers, I feel more and more people are going to quit, permanently. I became a free to play player after they put a timer on Bonnie. That I feel was just pure greed. I literally would pay $1.99 here and there to keep her at level 5 to keep the game fun (not constantly be stuck at the same level, and actually be able to progress).
My latest complaint is that they're giving 5+ moves as a reward in the Treasure Chest and at the bonus presents you win if you get stars on a level you're stuck on. I've won several of these but none of them are ever ACTUALLY awarded to my game. I sent them a message about it.

This is the reply I received:

There are several existing issues such as the beat a hard level to recieve the bonus, the obtain more farm animals (there are no more farm animals for me to win), etc.

To have them take away Bonnie and the (questionable) Events is mind boggling to me. That's how companies lose their following.

Mum used to get events regularly but that stopped months ago. I have reinstalled and sometimes it works and she will receive whatever event is in progress but once it ends the coming soon comes back and no events are pushed out. She is always on latest update as I check to ensure that is not the issue. She plays only on the one device (Samsung tablet) and there have been no problems with connections as she only plays at home. There is clearly an issue with folks receiving the events. Who can we reach out to at King to have profiles corrected as I would like to resolve this issue for her.

Not exactly @Sashiko6, We volunteeer, so we don't have the clearance the community team do to know the things they do...but we do have a little higher up level of knowledge than the players do as we can report things to the community team and they check with the studios. That means sometimes we know things such as glitches or behind the scenes stuff a little before you guys do or the reasons why things are they are, in which case, we tell you. Such as the control group reason.

Hi @Filly_McBean unfortunately if your mum isn't part of the control group, she won't be able to access them if that is the reason. You need to check in the app store for updates and if she is connected to facebook (to save progress) and has no saved boosters (as they are saved to her device not the game and would be lost) it might be worth a reinstall. Sometimes that might make her move into a group

Temu Ads
Temu ads do not allow you to exit the ad without registering with temu. It is frustrating to watch all the temu ads only to be returned to the king main menu when you try to exit. Can this be fixed or does anyone know a way to exit these ads.
Can't access free lives from team
The game always shows that my team has given me free lives, but they are NEVER in my inbox. In fact there is never anything in my inbox. I even tried clearing the app cache and storage and nothing.
