Apparently, that won't be necessary. I just tested it now and in airplane mode with WIFI off I shut my device off and back on, started the game, and got all my beans. Thanks to whoever got that working right.

I think it is too expensive to use beans.

I'm still both issues. I use an iOS device. This week I was offered 1st and 2nd gifts within a span less than 12 hours. Yesterday I lost the 7th gift and was offered 1st instead.
