Level 2

Alphabetty 667 has 14 mousetraps, 8 blocks and 8 exclamators. It gives you 17 moves to get 4 cheese chunks. It seems impossible, so I went to YouTube to see if there are any examples of anyone passing the level. There was a video in French, but their game has 22 moves instead of 17. The games were exactly the same except for the number of moves. Why does the game in English have 5 less moves?

    Hi Judi,

Its not a difference in country, its because a lot of video makers have given up and that is why there are not so mnay videos to choose from.

King often release a game and then adjust it depending on how players find it. That's why the games videos can differ. If they made it straight away it was probably easier at the time :)

  • Tried out now as I recalled it being a fun level, completed it twice with 3 stars out of 3 attempts (first attempt failed), with 2/3 moves left (starting at 16 plus a booster to get to 18).

Both short of my 31k+ best score, but definitely an enjoyable level.

Strategy tip: focus on getting lineblasters on the right side of the screen so you're taking out two mousetraps per move. By the time you're with 11 moves left you should already have cleared a lot.

Then look on the left side for opportunities to get down the first two cheeses, as the other two won't come down unless the first ones have been obtained.

(now going back to the level with Barney the Vampire to try and break 40k ;) )
