You probably did not miss out @Peanut7139 - because it said it was finished I'd assume the game was showing from the previous time you had it.
If you still see it after yesterday's update then you might have to wait until the next 1 2 3 grow before it refreshes.
I will alert @Crazy Cat Lad to this problem and see what can be done

Lynette I just did the update just now. I restarted my phone and the Grow a pet is still in my event saying 19h 38m. When you click on it, it still says complete. I just play around it, now carnival and daily challenge are available. I will play around it. It just sits and I hope I will have access later when the issue is resolved. Thanks
