Yes, that were my thoughts also. The daily booster don't count up, so it fine i guess.... 😉

I filled the chest hoping that then the regular game would come back but it's just another stupid chest. Where is my map? Where are my earlier levels. I want the regular game back -- this is not fun!

I suspect that this is the new game interface (but am waiting confirmation on that). The chest replaces the end of episode chest we used to get. You might just have to get used to this new way of playing. 🤔

Or just quit playing -- this is not at all enjoyable. I don't know why they have to ruin a good thing -- and why didn't they warn us?

I cannot access past levels because I don't have a mobile device, and playing on the app on my desktop is slow and annoying. The current presentation is very frustrating and boring -- why wasn't there any warning that this change was coming? Also, why can some people still play the old version?

Have you cleared the cache on your computer browser or tried playing in a different browser to help with speed? This version of the game should be faster.

I wasn't aware that anyone still had the older version now? I also wish we'd been told in advance so we knew what was going on 😕

Most of us thought initially that it was an event that was causing the game problems and could not understand why it wasn't simply removed.

Now I know it's an entire game update I am a little more understanding of the problems.

If you can't play on mobile you could (like I do) download a virtual mobile to your desktop. I use one called 'bluestacks'

It gives you a mobile interface, but on your desktop or laptop and simulates an android device so you can download games and apps free from the Google Playstore. 🙂

This is how the game app appears downloaded on my virtual mobile on my computer screen, you can choose tablet or mobile mode.

I still find it very boring to have the same camper and dog day after day -- I don't know why the game developers thought this would be an improvement. I think this is worse than when they changed from the really cute animals to the demonic ones that thankfully they retired. I still think the original pets were cuter than the current ones, but the current ones are a huge improvement over the previous redesign.

Its because the Facebook version is harder to change than mobiles. That is why many games are mobile only. (Not just facebook but on anything that relies on a browser) For all games not just King.

I suppose they update games to keep them looking fresh and new as many get bored if they look the same all the time. Also as time goes on, graphics get better.

The map will come to desktop, its just got issues that will be fixed. Unfortunately when it involves another platform like Facebook it takes longer 😬
