If you look at the arrow, the purpose of the daily challenge is to be able to get the blocks included within the blue encasing.

Look at #1 - if you hit the green block outside the blue encasing, it will get inside it since right next to it is the same color block already contained within. The same with #2, if you hit the red block outside the blue encasing, it will do the same.

Look at #3 - since there is no the same color block next to the blocks inside the blue encasing, in this case red or green, you have to hit the blocks inside to bring them down until you see the same colors next to each other (outside and inside blocks) to be able to bring it in. The same as in #1 & 2.
