It is not possible to switch off any events in Candy Crush Saga but most of us are happy to just ignore the Piggy Bank. It's very easy to ignore. Just never tap on it.

If you spent real money to buy gold bars then that will be the reason you lost the ads. Once you spend money the game hopes you will spend more money so the game stops giving you free bonuses.
