Training levels: 0-200 and what these can tell us about the game in general
Here I go again with my obsession about the first 200 levels of Candy Crush. I don't even mean to run tests any more, just to collect some boosters ready for my regular games to get ready for All Stars. But these first 200 levels tell us so much about how the AI runs the game and about the algorithms it creates, I feel the…

What more can 2026 bring to ruin Candy Crush Saga?
Here are a few ideas…. Make Season Pass new level wins only for all players (Yep, looks like they've done it now! Feb 2026) Remove or reset the friends feature so that the AI has full control over who our friends are and how many lives they will send Remove chocolate from all remaining levels where it still features…

Changed levels pre 200 this week
So level 92 is gone and replaced by a gumball one. Also level 169 is different. Both of these levels used to start with a double colour bomb combo and had licorice, which has been replaced by gumball machines. Here the old and new versions of level 169: Old (well, two weeks old according to the video)…

Valentine Cake Finals analysis
We are only halfway through the event but I can already draw my conclusions: We are playing a bespoke leaderboard with others who are not seeing us in their games Beware of when to play your multiplier tokens When you join makes little difference: the way the game allocates other players now means that "CEES" is as good as…

The New Candy Crush (2025): How to use events to beat the game
This is an update for December 2025: Events and features are a key part to playing Candy Crush. They give players boosters and gold to help pass levels which are designed to require gold or boosters to pass. So playing features and events wisely is so, so important to success. King control which features and events we get.…

Pointless Animations and their effect on All Stars
@QueenB Here comes a plea about the amount of animations between levels and between episodes currently in our games. Many of the animations can no longer be skipped through, like this one which in my iPhone game comes first: This is the most annoying of them all to me. To me watching these quests fill up is absolutely…

Valentine Knockout round: Analysis
For anyone who has not started yet: There are twenty players per leaderboard. Five will qualify for the finals. I am noting down my opponents' data: starting level levels passed in 7days (which would indicate how many levels they crushed in the qualifiers) last episode race win streak Then at the end, as in the qualifier,…

I am seeing friends in my weekly contest again.... anyone else?
This looks like a step back in time: Most of the players in my weekly contest this week are part of my friends list! None of them are my community friends, but Tammi, Godfrey, Diego and Hazel are all my friends. Are King going back to the old system? Is anyone else seeing this?

What does it take to get to 10,000 gold bars in CCS?
Note added 2026: Please don't take any notice of this thread any more it's for historical purposes only. The game has changed too much for any of this to still be relevant. I would like to share my latest achievement here and wonder if any of you have managed better than me?

Fake live leaderboard events
I am quite shocked by the findings I am making with the Valentine Cake event. To be fair the official info for this event makes it quite clear that this is not a live leaderboard: No terms and conditions, and the way the information is all phrased is pretty much like other fake events (episode race, weekly contest etc).…
