What does it take to get to 10,000 gold bars in CCS?

I would like to share my latest achievement here and wonder if any of you have managed better than me?

I'm real chuffed I finally found this post and to retrieve it before the final event. So this thread shows how I played the account to gain first 10,000 gold bars by September 2024 and then in the months after this I continued to play at a leisurely pace of two episodes per week to get the most gold out of the game. This did involve using adverts to gain the UFO boosters to fill the last order on the gold chocolate box. I did mention this method in another thread and consider that perfectly legitimate: The game will allow players to continually play gold chocolate box one after the other. The third three chocolates can be gained easily by playing older levels, just pick your favourite go-to level. The fourth chocolate requires either new levels (which I was trying to avoid as the more levels we play the harder the game gets) or UFOs or Party poppers to be played. My game did offer me adverts plus UFO if I failed an old level, so occasionally (but not very often since I hate watching adverts) I did fail an old level and then used that UFO from the ad to get the prize for the gold chocolate box. Anyone who think this is cheating……. really? Which planet do you live on? If the game gives you the chance to do that of course you will take it. This was not a glitch, it was playing as intended by the game.

The secret to success is to play slowly. Two episodes per day max. That way you can definitely make a lot of gold bars for free.
