Doesn't seem strange to me. Some players (like the ones at the top of map who've essentially quit) just occasionally open the game without doing anything. What would be more questionable is if the Last played field indicated "Today" without the Current login streak changing to 1.

I don't have faith in King getting much right. From this Community, we've already seen them ban legit players. Wouldn't be surprised if they allow actual cheaters to persist.
