I am very grateful for the sacrifices my dad made for my siblings and I. Growing up overseas in tough conditions, he studied hard in school and ended up getting into a university in America. He left his family and flew across the world for a better life for his future children, and I am forever thankful for that.

Hi @wykoon @Elsa @Yosca @Nix66 @Diamond Lim, thx for contest, badge, & tag,
What can one say about our dads, or my dad. He went thru 20-22 Ranks in the Navy, had various degrees in many fields, got his *Masters in Hebrew & Greek, etc...
As a kid, I remember when he took me on the *USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier. Got to eat all kinds of *Pudding, from chocolate, tapioca, vanilla, etc... Needless to say, I went home sick. (hehe) The Officers Mess Hall, is a great place to eat. As a electronics maintenance officer, he kept things flying for the Navy.
But it was his insights into the *Scriptures, that I remember him for, more than anything else. Read everything he had on it, including other works by brilliant Christians. From the founders of this Nation / USA, to Christianized Europe, including The Reformation.
He went to permanently be with the Lord, some time ago. Because of him & others, I have the greatest teacher in history.
Trust this will help you, on who you want your teacher to be also.
