Can’t seem to beat this level.

Since August, I no longer get the free lives at the end of the game or in the beginning. It makes playing the game less fun. Is there any way to get those deals back?

Hello and welcome to the Candy Crush forum. I am afraid there is nothing we can do to change the events that we get in our games. We all get different events and chances to get boosters in the game. Some players get to watch adverts for free boosters, but many don't.

As for level 6230, does yours look like this video?

I mean ist the starting board the same? As you can see Johnny had a very lucky board to pass this in the moves given. To pass you will need to wait for the right candies to drop and a good starting board like this one. As you can see in the video the first move was to create a wrapped candy! The game has changed since this video was made and we now do not get lucky boards as good as this. My suggestion would be to always play the first move the game suggests, then see if you get a chance to create special candies to hit into the blockers. Some levels can only be passed now with boosters, and you may never get a lucky board quite like the one in the video. If you have no boosters then take a break and collect any boosters you can from events such as Season Pass, which gives you boosters for re-playing previous levels, the daily spin etc. Don't use any boosters on a tricky level like this one until you get really close and you can see that a lollipop or UFO will allow you to pass. If you don't have any of those, but you do get close, then I often find that playing the pre level colour bomb plus wrapped/striped boosters will win the level on the very next attempt.
