Player scores are not updating

I am currently in 1st place for round 1 of the finals. When I click on other players, it says the have been active "yesterday" or "today" but yet their scores stay the same. There is less than 17 hours left in Round 1 and if it says I am in 1st place, I hope that I win 1st place.

I mean, I dont want to be sitting here thinking I am a million points in the lead only to find out the last minute I was actually in 10th place or something.

Is anyone else having this issue where the other players scores have stopped?

I am connected to wifi and I have great signal and I am getting the sales updates....so why cant I see score updates from the other players?

I updated the game early this morning and just shut down my phone for 5 minutes and turned it back on. No change.

I am a bit nervous of whats going to happen in 13 hours but at the same time, I shouldnt be too worried because they sent me a form saying I am in first place and they need my info.
