Can someone explain to me why you need Superstar status? I don't understand the meaning of this status.
For example, Spinnifix wants to get this status. But she wants to be rewarded for helping other people here (she wants to receive some kind of bonuses for helping other players).
But Elsa says that Superstar is volunteers.I am also a volunteer, but in real life. Our volunteer organization helps people who were forced to leave their homes because hostilities are currently taking place in those villages/towns. We also help residents of Kharkiv whose houses or apartments were destroyed by Russian fascists. To all these people we give food (groceries), clothes and shoes (if we can find the sizes), we give them hygiene items (soap, toothpaste, diapers for children and adults...), we give them pots, pans and mugs. We collect all this from all over our city. Foreign friends also help us.
But we don't get anything for what we do. We work for free.
That's why I don't understand what Superstar is.
Someone please explain to me what Superstar means. I thank you in advance.5 -
Hi @ElenaVorona!
Superstar is a title that no longer exists in the Community! It existed some years ago and I slightly remember it when I was new member! I think that Elsa explained it a little in her post!
As I understood, they were experienced members who were helping other members.

Hi @ElenaVorona! Superstar was just a name given to volunteers in the old community. We volunteered to help the players with their game issues. All this volunteering was done by a handful of us who enjoyed helping the players. We had been doing this for a while and then one day we were approached asking if we'd like to become involved as part of a team to help the players. Discussion of rewards were never brought up. Like your wonderful way of volunteering that was our way to do things too. I was one of the handful of original volunteers who helped clean up all the old messages. I remember doing 2000 just in Saga alone. Other volunteers played other King games so they tried to help those players. That's all that it was, no perks! Just enjoyed helping the players, as did the other volunteers. When we moved to this new community more volunteers were needed because there were a lot of King games and many players needing help with glitches in their game(s). As one of the volunteers, I loved helping everyone. The team expanded and other volunteers were added as game moderators. To make a long story short eventually all volunteers were combined into a team and given the name of game moderator.
I'm sorry @Spinnifix but I have to call you out on this. Without getting into your history, I think it's very unfair for you to say that you want to be rewarded by helping the players. I sure hope that what you wrote was a translation problem and not greed. Volunteering means, as Elena wrote, helping those who are in need of help. And that's what the Superstars did. It was never about rewards and if you know different then that might be why a couple of them are gone. I don't even want to get into this discussion with you so please don't write back wanting to discuss rewards because I won't respond!
Kuddos to Elena for being available and dedicating as much time that she has to those people in need!
Another thing Peggy, if you are in it for rewards, maybe that's just one of the reasons why you haven't been asked to join the other volunteers. You should be helping the players because you enjoy talking to them and discussing the same games that you all play and nothing more than that! If you are a true volunteer then help the new community members find their way around the community. Offer them links and suggestions but please don't do it because you want to be rewarded!

I once wrote that I was given the love of the
players and if I had helped, a friendly thank you. It was enough for
me. By rewards I generally meant to get more motivation for the
players. This is the case in Candy Crush.
I help Jelly, Nikos and I and it's a good thing. If something comes
along again, I won't turn it down. The GMs also get something and are
volunteers. You shouldn't forget either.5 -
The way I see it, and I don't go to all the play
areas anymore, there are no volunteers in some play areas. It would be
nice if there were volunteers in every play area. But it's up to
everyone whether they want to help or not. Many people probably say to
themselves, what should I help for and what will I get out of it? This
would be one reason why there are so few helpers. If the helpers could
earn something for their game, it would be a good thing. I'll put it
this way. Where is that bad?4 -
It is good to see you! What has happened here, things have just evolved and perhaps not everything in the right direction. The tags have been messing up off and on, so that should clear up for you. The tags are messing up for me right now! You have to keep trying and erase the whole name and start again, sometimes that works.
Players miss the pm and think that they cannot make friends, new players cannot understand why there is a way to message (little envelope) yet you cannot… As you know, I have never been much of a pm person but I know a whole lot of players! So, the best way to meet each other for me is the way that I met you and @rebelchild @wykoon @Boybinary @Racoon7 @MollyS @DieOmimi @lelensp and since tagging is not working correctly on names right now (players can get the idea), we met kidding around doing memes and gifs together, having fun, slowly finding out things about one another and just being ourselves. David, I think maybe I am not funny enough anymore? Anyway, I am here, really have no other place to be, so please stick around and hopefully we will see a better community. It can happen!
P.S. This is still for me the to go place for info about Candy Crush Saga! Bear over and out. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔっ♡

Question: How are we supposed to make suggestions
and have a conversation here when this is being processed here? You can
also honestly express your opinion. We have freedom of expression.
To be honest: I don't feel like doing anything like that anymore.Exactly, we talked about this constant editing and
it's still going on. For me it's inhumane and I feel like I've been
thrown away. I don't need this.
I am a human being and I want to be treated like a human being. Then why the contribution? Really doesn't make any sense.

Thank you very much for your detailed answer. Now I understand what Superstar status meant when he was active in the community.
I am glad that you and I equally understand the meaning of the word “volunteer”. Because a true volunteer never expects a reward for what he does. And he will never even talk about awards. He simply does what he considers necessary and correct, and does not expect anything from anyone in return or in payment for what he has done. Never. The fact that Spinnifix wants some kind of bonuses for helping other people is neither good nor bad. If she wants this, then let her seek these bonuses (gold bars, boosters or something else). Let her receive bonuses)))). It doesn't bother me.
I just wish that people who receive payment (no matter in what form) for their help to other people would not call themselves volunteers. Please. I beg you. Get all the bonuses and money in the world for helping people, but don’t call yourself volunteers. I hate to hear this. This makes me sick.
I can't imagine the situation in real life. For example, we are bringing a starter kit of food and hygiene items to a family whose home was destroyed yesterday and they were left without everything that each member of the community is used to. They have nothing. Absolutely. And we bring them at least something. And then we say - this is what we want money for or something else. Horror. I can't imagine it. This is impossible. It’s good that all the volunteers on our team are adequate.
