Sorry for this long post, I would like to think based on my own experiences that people have welcomed me in the Community. I have posted comments and received some awesome feedback from some people that I might not have ever communicated with.  We lived in different continents, different time zones yet we always found a way to keep each other informed by private message (no longer available) or by tagging other players to specifically ask for their advice. I would hope this would continue for any Newbie but there are issues in here that need to be addressed first.

Current Master suggestion list should be removed and a new one started. From my own experiences I would make recommendations and often there would be a response indicating that someone had already suggested this previously.

Why I suggest that the Master List of ideas be removed and start a new one is simply because the game has changed so much regardless of whether it was approved or not we need to give new members in the Community an opportunity to have their input, more importantly to engage them.   If the Master List of Suggestions is never acted on it should be removed permanently

I follow a Facebook Group Candy Crush All Help Page and here there seems to be a lot of discussion about this game and I have received some valuable information from this page. I have also asked people in this group why they do not try to find the answers here in the Kingdom. Everyone all responded to me that they could not find anything in here and were reluctant to even look, simply leaving out of frustration.

My suggestion here is that there be a Community/Facebook Group liaison person who is active in both the Community and the Facebook Group to cross reference posts in here that might provide an answer rather than have Facebook Members continue to post incorrect information and vice versa.

I am usually in the Community daily and I seldom go to the discussion page because it is full of questions and/or statements regarding players' frustration with this game. This is also the same on the All Help Candy Crush Facebook Group. So if a New Community Member is posting a question for assistance it often gets overlooked, not because you don't want to help a new Community Member it's because you don't want to sift through all the previous comments until you find a post from someone who actually needs assistance.

For this I would suggest several things:

That all questions from Newbies, who I personally think should be referred to as New Community Members, be posted in an area set aside in the Community where they can post questions and get a response from players rather than have players in the community sift through pages of complaints and/or issues with this game on the Discussion Page..

They could be paired with volunteer community member(s) who want to help and they could post and tag the volunteer who could respond and/or get assistance from other community volunteers. Keep in mind that these volunteers are not technical experts so they would need direct contact with someone in the community and/or King Customer Care where they could refer the question and get the appropriate response and report back to the New Community Member if and when necessary.  This is where all rewards could be determined for members assisting New Community Members instead of the member having to keep track of the members they have assisted.

There should be a Game Complaints Link right on the front page of Candy Crush for all other players to access instead of using the discussion page where valuable information often gets overlooked.  When I look at the Support Section on the Candy Crush main page the last post on there is dated March 14, 2024.  Players are using the discussion page to post game issues, complaints and their overall frustrations with Candy Crush.  Every post regarding game issues should automatically be redirected to the Support Page.  There should also be a notice on the Discussion Page to identify that all issues with this game are to be posted under the Support tab. So with instructions to help players where to post their questions on the Discussion Page regardless of the player status this would help alleviate some of the clutter on the Community discussion page to make things easier to find.

The Contest Link on the main page should be renamed Contests/Events and all contests and events details be posted there instead of the Discussion Page.  The Discussion Page should be reserved specifically for Community Managers, Moderators, anyone who needs to post important information that is relevant to everyone in the Community.

Lastly, this game is forever changing ie the number of moves and the objective to complete a particular level.  When I was at level 16400, before I restarted my game, I have always relied on YouTube videos and/or this blog page https://candycrushsagaallhelp.blogspot.com/ when I needed help getting past a difficult level.  These sites are outdated, and really cannot be relied upon to provide assistance.  The Community should have a page directly devoted to this information where New Community Players can get engaged and post new videos to assist other new players trying to find help with a particular level.  There could also be a tiered reward system to encourage New Community Members to post.

    @Snow_Rider @Princess_Jessica @encantes @QueenB, @rebelchild

You asked what can we do to make the Community better ?

My friends the Community is not in need to make better it's the atmosphere, the members or players who make the Community by their behavior, friendliness, helpfulness and making themselves part of the world of King Community the better is how we choose to live, play and have fun with each other not only meeting so many people from around the world but sharing a bit of ourselves and maybe not in private messages but we can play a Community Game and also add a little something in the game itself to introduce ourselves to the other players by doing this you'll find everything is acceptable within Community Rules I do believe if not someone please let me know......

JJust as I been reading all the communication going back and forth in this thread it's no different than doing it in a open counting game or open word game, quiet simply don't look at what you thought you lost just look at it a different way as I been away for a while but I don't think the Community has any bad in it no it just need a different approach for me hopefully myself and the one's who call the in's and out's the of the Community will fill the same and maybe some better changes might come…

    Your friend

    Good morning dear Colleen

We know about the master list of ideas. Elsa created all the master
lists herself and she talked to the moderators about them. It was only
done in Candy Crush. Because you don't want to do it. Dear Elsa could
say more about this. I think this post for questions and answers is
perfect. It doesn't matter what questions are asked. Unfortunately, we
are constantly sending players back and forth. This has to stop.
Everything has to be made easier.
I suggested this in the old post. The members who help the players
should receive rewards. I also suggested: The ideas implemented by the
opened player get a reward. So that players are encouraged to post even
    more ideas for the game.

  • Kwe' Spinnifix,

I think we can agree on everything, especially when it comes to New Members. Yesterday when I took the time to create my post, I also took some time to search and do some research here in the Community, places where I haven't been in awhile. More specifically regarding the Master List of Ideas, when I looked this section has posts that are dating back to 2018 that are still pending, awaiting review? If they are never to be acted upon then maybe it is just time to permanently delete it and start from scratch or start something entirely new. Perhaps @_Elsa_ could provide some additional details whether the Master List of Ideas is still actively reviewed and updated here in the Community. Have a great day 😊

Hi @Colleen12 those messages that you wrote are really great; however, things have drastically changed since they first moved the old community to this one. I was very involved and I set up a few posts all over the community welcoming any new community members. Back then we had a lot more King games than the ones posted today and I remember going into each game area and creating a message with print screens to help all new members find their way around each area (discussions, support, contests and ideas). As the CMs made changes I updated those print screens. Then I went on to create master lists in the 5 large game areas (Candy Crush Saga, Soda, Friends, Jelly and Farm Heroes). The lists were updated monthly to help any new members see what had already been posted and how many votes each idea had. There were 2 active game areas (not mentioning names) where the CMs had success in implementing several ideas. One game area the CM really tried to push the studio with implementing the ideas but wasn't too successful. I had been given the title of Superstar back then (volunteer) and when things got expanded they implemented an International Corner for Spanish, German and French. I was also very involved in setting up the Candy Crush Saga Beginner's Corner for any player that had just started playing the game. There were posts about how to play the game and mention of boosters and blockers. I had also created videos for many of the games areas offering similar things. I think the Beginner's Corner was very successful and we were 4 Superstars overseeing that area. One day that area was closed down. So it made it difficult to find your way around the community. I also set up a guide to find your way around the community but it's outdated and still has the Beginner's Corner listed but the link is dead.

I am not telling you all of this to brag because I am not that kind of person. I just felt that players coming for the first time needed guidance to find their way around the community. Several changes occurred since then and I won't go into details but I am no longer a part of the volunteering to help players with their game issues, contests, etc.

It's wonderful to read that you would like to help make changes. The master list of ideas was handed out to the GMs when the program got switched. I didn't want to give up those lists but the CMs felt it best to have their own GMs take care of it. For one reason or another volunteering didn't happen except in Saga and Farm Heroes. Those lists continued to grow while the other three never moved forward. Those lists and the entire ideas section should be archived and perhaps new ones started but if the ideas are not a priority for any of those studios it won't work. It's very discouraging for a new member to post ideas and get so many votes and it goes no where. I have no clue where the CMs are taking the community from here but perhaps this post will be read by the CMs and they can follow up and initiate what the players are suggesting.

Unfortunately, I have taken a step away from the community and have found many wonderful things to do. I do visit the contest areas for the games that I play and if I find that it's doable then I will post my print screens.

When this community first started and we were able to work with the studios, a couple of graphic artists from the Candy Crush Saga studio created these avatars for us Superstars. This is my most treasured memory from this community and my time here. I thank those artists for going out of their way to create these for us! 😘

I wish you good luck @Colleen12 and I sure hope that your suggestions are read and followed through.

Greetings @me6412, welcome back! I saw where @rebelchild had asked you what you thought? I really did't think that I would see you here. You are right, how we look at things makes all the difference.
