Cannot Update Bubble Witch Saga 3 to Moon Chase

Hello! For some reason I cannot update my Bubble Witch Saga 3 app to the Moon Chase event. My Google Play says the app is already updated and when I try to update the game via the announcement inside the app, a window appears saying that an error has occurred and that I cannot download the update. Afterwords the game closes out on me. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but to no avail, the update does not happen. Is my phone simply not able to download the update or is it something server-sided? My phone is a Moto e5 plus if that helps!

To be honest with you, I don't know what the issue can be. To make sure your phone is compatible, go to Google Play and check "Compatibility" 

Also, clear cache and cookies and restart your phone, that might help.
