Why does the game keep shuffling over and over, then you loose a life?

the studio may not be aware that this is still happening

there is a work around
... Vincent discovered that trying to start a word can stop the autoshuffle
... you have to be very alert to pull this off

Hi @tam1962 and welcome to our Community!

The game will shuffle if no possible words are available to link. If you still haven't any available words after shuffling, the game will shuffle again a second time and a third time if no words still couldn't be linked. 

If no words are possible after three shuffles, the level will fail and you will need to replay it.

@Crazy Cat Lad has answered your question ... precisely and well

unfortunately the autoshuffle does not always work as desired

if you notice that the autoshuffle happens when a valid word is on the board do not be surprised

this problem may have been there since first reported in 2015

do not despair ... king has repaired 2 problems already in 2019

this glitch is a tough one to fix ... and may require a lot of work(and money)
