Am I accidentally Cheating?

Hey-

OK, so I was playing BWS3, and making slow but steady progress. I don't remember but I think I had earned 100 or so Magic stars to add to the Astral League score,I don't remember exactly, but it was something like that. I ran out of lives so I went to @johamilton's challenge, "Who Can Come Closest to my Score" challenge. I played that, got a good score saved the screenshot etc, and then went back to the regular game, level 3400 something. But, all of a sudden, I had 500 points in the astral League. I played for a while longer, cause I wanted to beat the Chapter, but now I'm feeling like I didn't really earn my first place position. Is there some kind of surprise bonus that somehow gives yo 400+ points? Anyway, I am curious (which is what happens when you hang around cats) why it happened.

BTW, I am playing on Windows 10 PC, if that matters.

Hi @Lemurtek, no you are not cheating. I do recall another thread that someone was asking a similar question and for what I remember it was something like what you did. I cannot tell you how it happened, but no you are not cheating. I am going to tag @PrettyBubbles and maybe she can fill you in. 👻

Hi @Lemurtek Dont worry there is no karma here just occasional blips sometimes to our advantage sometimes not.

The scores can suddenly change if a player has gone off line then once they come out and go back in its online and will accumulate any pending scores.

So please don't worry if in your case it was a blip it was a good one and no as @johamilton said you have not cheated.
