Has there been a change to extra bubbles if you lose a level?

Level 3
I have been playing level 6385 for several days and finally got some gold to help me clear this level.. I'm so sick of it! Lol... Anyways, I noticed that I don't have any extra bubbles from losing. It's still only saying 5 for 9 gold.... Has this changed in a recent update?
Edit:And... Wouldn't you know that I actually won the level right after I posted this and only needing 3 of the 5 gold I bought. LOL. Still wondering about the extra ones though. I'm sure I played that level 25 or more times....

Nope, bw3. You know how when you lose a round and it gives you the offer to continue with 5 more bubbles for 9 gold... Well after losing about 10 times, it will add a bubble so you get 6 bubbles for 9 gold, next loss is the 7 bubbles for 9 gold, etc... that's what I'm referring to....

Yes the moves did used to increase if you failed a level but to be honest its been a long time since I have not completed a level with only the 5 extra moves so I don't know if this is the case
Let me check with my cm when they return from Easter vacation in a day or two and I will come back to you with an update 💓

Thank you so much! I envy you for being able to clear levels so quickly! LOL Sometimes I will spend a few days playing and waiting for a spell or a magic hat so I can move forward. That's ok. I wouldn't be in the 6000's if I didn't have patience. :)
